My setup:
2012 iMac
Boot Volume: 10.9 beta off of a thunderbolt connected SSD
Boot camp on internal drive running Windows 7
Prior to installing 10.9 I was running Fusion 4 and 10.8, same configuration hardware. Everything worked great.
I installed 10.9 and Fusion appeared to work fine - except for the network in Windows had no internet.
I assumed a Fusion 4/10.9 compatibility issue, and installed the Tech Preview.
The tech preview never properly loaded the boot camp partition.
Then I found out the OS X was having network issues and I reset the network settings.
Now Tech Preview still will not open Boot Camp, and I cannot downgrade back to Fusion 4.
I get the following error:
Cannot open the disk '/Users/trek/Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/Virtual Machines/Boot Camp/Boot Camp.vmwarevm/Boot Camp.vmdk' or one of the snapshot disks it depends on.
Module DiskEarly power on failed.
Failed to start the virtual machine.
I uninstalled fusion completely, setup fresh.
It opens and hangs on solid black screen when opening the boot camp partition.
