Re: VMware to Vista - screen lock

I upgraded to Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit and I have the disk.  I was having problems booting my old system and ordered the iMac to replace it.  After downloading the VMware Fusion 5, I found the problem was not the booting of the computer but a bad monitor.  I have tried to delete the VMware and reinstall it but I end with the screen locked in the "Start Up Repair" window.

I went to "applications" and deleted the VMware from there by "Trashing" it and also "trashed" it from the downloads.  I've reinstalled the VMware fusion and the end result still shows the "Start Up Repair" window locked.  I'm not sure where Windows Vista resides on Mac.

It took 7.5 hours to migrate the information at 594 MB.  I can find it in "applications" and trash it but it still returns with the same result.

My system has the following:

2.9GHz Quad-core Intel Core i5, Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz

8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x4GB

1TB Serial ATA Drive @ 5400 rpm

NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 512MB GDDR5
