Welcome to the Community - I assume you are referring to the VI CLient console - do you receive any errors when you try to open it? Are you accessing the console through while connecting directly to the ESX host or through Virutual Center?
in regards to not being able to RDP to your DC - Can you ping it? What error do you receive when you try to RDP?
